Our business is 50% supplying reference designs and technology licensing, 50% providing bespoke development services. With 80 engineers-strong R&D team focused on embedded design and located in Eastern Europe we offer proximity to the customers and cost effective R&D.

Engagement models

• Fixed price, fixed schedule. You can get good idea about our expertise based on type and complexity of reference designs we develop in video surveillance and digital TV areas. We are typically able to provide a fixed price, fixed schedule for even complex multi-year projects with guaranteed SLA. If we cannot guarantee a delivery on time and budget, we will not pickup a project.
• Strategic R&D engagement. Some customers prefer to take benefits from our proximity and ability to provide cost-effective services and engage with us for large projects or strategically establishing their R&D team with us for a long run.

Expertise and focus

Embedded Linux is strongest focus for Synesis, where we provide full range of services from BSP to application development on embedded platforms, with specific experience in video processing, multi-core embedded development and rich user interfaces. Besides Linux, we also have experience delivering projects on QNX, ThreadX and GreenHills Integrity.
